Milum Transport has been proudly serving the esteemed OK Tedi mine since 2017, providing exceptional transportation solutions.
On August 1, 2022, Milum was awarded the highly coveted road transport contract, solidifying our position as the exclusive service provider for the entire mine. Our operations encompass a round trip from the Tabubil township, spanning a distance of 132Km to Kiunga. We handle a diverse range of cargo, including containers, breakbulk shipments, flat racks, and an impressive daily volume of over 340,000L of diesel.
Heading our division is a team of seasoned National and Expatriate managers and supervisors, who bring a wealth of experience from their involvement in major projects such as PNG LNG and international ventures. These sheets meticulously capture essential information, including load components, safety stop checks along the highway, group prestart procedures, and operator personal Take Fives. This meticulous approach ensures accountability for safe load movement, continuous safety monitoring, and prioritizes the well-being of our operators.
