Geologist - FIFO

Milum Services Limited is seeking experienced Geologists to be responsible for planning and executing field exploration, including mapping, sampling and drill core logging.
The successful candidate will work in remote field environments as well as in the office, preparing technical reports, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standard.
Core Responsibilities
Conduct geological mapping, sampling, drill core logging and data collection
Interpret geological data to support mining operations and resource development
Monitor ore quality and provide grade control to optimize extraction
Collaborate with mining engineers and production teams to ensure efficient ore recovery
Maintain accurate geological records, reports and database
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards
Qualification and Experience
Minimum 3 years if experience in mining or exploration geology
Ability to work in remote and challenging environments
Strong understanding of geological modelling
Experience with geological software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
